Not only does it protect your dogs and family members from dangerous bacteria and diseases, the antimicrobial Potty Park virtually eliminates odors as compared to other dog potties. Because of the inherent benefits of antimicrobial, Potty Park is resistant against moisture absorption and deterioration from acidity. It also prevents the survival and growth of bacteria. Without absorbing moisture and acidity or allowing bacteria to survive, the Potty Park remains clean and virtually odor free.
Odors were one of the main concerns we had when designing the Potty Park. We wanted to ensure Potty Park would fit seamlessly into people’s homes and not give off offensive odors like a cat litter box does. We researched what caused pet odors to linger and remain in various materials and found that the primary odors came from urine. Because urine is naturally acidic it breaks down the outer layers of many materials and imbeds the scent of urine deep inside of the material. The urines acidity reaches far deeper than conventional cleaning products or pressure washers are able to penetrate. This is what creates permanent odors in the many imitator products now in the marketplace. Materials which are susceptible to acidity and ultimately will have a permanent odor include:
1.Wood (accept Cedar and Red Wood)
2.Fiberglass
3.Polyvinyl (PVC)
4.Polypropylene (PP)

Potty Park is made from medical grade AMHDPE (Antimicrobial High Density Polyethylene). You may ask why we clearly state the cutting edge material we make our Potty Park’s out of. Shouldn’t we be worried our competitors will copy that? The truth is we wish they would! We are first and foremost animal lovers and we want what’s best for our best friends and that’s a safe and hygienic toileting location. Unfortunately, the process of creating a proper antimicrobial dog potty isn’t as economical as making it out of cheaper, less responsible materials.
